Information you provide: name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, and the coverage details and answers you submit through our quote and contact forms.
Consent records: whether you checked our SMS and marketing consent boxes, and the date/time of your submission.
Technical information: IP address, browser/user-agent, and referring page, collected automatically to help process and secure your request.

2. How we use your information

To match you with insurance options and connect you with agents and carriers that can service your request.
To contact you about your request by phone, email, or — if you consented — SMS text message.
To send marketing communications where you have opted in, which you can stop at any time.
To operate, secure, and improve the Site, and to comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share your information

To fulfill your request, we may share the information you provide with insurance carriers, partner agencies, and insurance agents so they can prepare quotes and offer coverage. We may also share information with service providers who help us operate the Site.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your mobile opt-in data or phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. SMS consent is used only to enable communications from CoverageForU and the agents servicing your request.

4. SMS / text messaging

If you opt in to SMS, you consent to receive recurring text messages from us at the number you provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. SMS: reply STOP to any message to opt out.
Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
Access / deletion: contact us at privacy@coverageforu.com to request access to or deletion of your information, subject to applicable law.

We retain your information for as long as needed to service your request, maintain consent records, and comply with legal obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified.

7. Children

The Site is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
